M. Ali Karimkhani
When I was 55 years old, I started studying film at Filmarche Berlin where I was the oldest student!
In 2015 I shot the short film “Pino”, which was presented at the La Palma film festival in Spain.
In 2016, I shot my next short film "The Night before 13th day" in Tehran, Iran, which took part in several international film festivals.
In January 2018 I finished two other short films: "My room with a balcony" and "Seventeen and forty-five". Both films won the main prize of the German Generation Film Prize in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
In 2021, I finished shooting the next short film “Marie's fridge”.
